"Great location, beautiful & well equipped 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment very near Old Salem. 2nd bath is just outside the 2nd bedroom. Would have been perfect if the front door had a handle on both sides. As is, door locks/unlocks with a code but there is no handle to open the door. A little challenging but you’ll eventually get it open. Closing and locking from inside is doable but can also be challenging Without an interior handle. I will be back to WS & this will be my first choice!"

"It took us 10 minutes to find the front door. I had to call the owner twice. It was in the back of the apartment complex facing the woods. The light over the doorway was out and it was too dark to see the entrance to the apartment. We walked in and walked out immediately in tears. We ended up in a hotel. There is NO furniture in the living room or dining area. I do not mean limited furniture, I mean NO furniture and no TV. The picture of the fireplace that is used in the advertisement....that is...

"The pictures don't do this apartment justice... perfect for the weekend we were there. I just wish we bought extra toilet paper and paper towels. Beds were comfy, easy host to work with. "

"I don’t think the listing made it clear just how great a location this is. Easy walking access to Old Salem or downtown Salem. Lovely apartment, spacious and comfortable. Just be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. We enjoyed our stay and next time in the area we will stay here again."

"I never give bad reviews & this was my first bad experience with a VRBO. We were visiting for Wake Forest parents weekend, drove through the hurricane, arrived at dinner, & I messaged the host because we hadn’t received our code. He replied immediately (only positive) that he was sorry & had to cancel our reservation. It was 6pm. The condo was overbooked on another platform & someone had already checked in. I don’t understand how this happens because we received VRBO emails reminding us...
