"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Spent 2 nights here recently visiting relatives in the area and loved it. Very clean, modern and comfortable and we felt very at home. All the kitchen amenities that you would need and a walk in shower to die for. We will definitely book again when in the area."

"The cottage looks lovely from the outside and even better once you get inside. the owners have clearly taken a lot of time and effort to provide everything you need for your stay. I used a pair of light washable slippers provided. The kitchen was full of extras like cooking oil, and a welcome basket with biscuits and eggs. All the toiletries were M&S or high quality. loads of towels, etc. WIFI good TV with Prime video. Local pub nice, village stunning. The fords and watermill house over the...

"Great place to stay in the countryside! Barn conversion equipped with everything needed and right next to the canal. Very spacious and clean too! Hosts are friendly and helpful! Thankyou!!"

"The cottage was bright, clean and comfortable. It contained everything you could need and even some extra treats. The hosts were welcoming and I am sure they would have done anything to make the stay more comfortable. We visited the nearby quirky pub/ brewery which is in walking distance, and had a nice meal there too."

"Nice quiet location, although being on a farm there was a small amount of work related activaty at times which did not spoil our stay. The furnature and equipment was the best we have seen in the numerous property,s we have stayed in. Friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended for a restful holiday."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mews. It is clean, well-equipped and very quiet. We were visiting nearby family and from there we went to some interesting places, including the Peak District and the city of Lincoln. We would definitely stay here again."
