"The property is very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they leave at about 5 PM and as a result for sometime, I was the only person in the whole place. I tried very hard to make sure I didn’t think about the movie “The Shining”. Once I got comfortable, it was very nice! I highly recommend."

"Historic, over 100 years old, and former high school, this is an interesting stay that takes you back to that prior generations' feeling. The positives were a comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast, and the sole negative was it was cold on the interior (cold outside) with no available blanket and no ability to increase heat in the room."

"We stayed here for a week. The hot tub was amazing and the views from both the tub and from the main floor deck were spectacular. Clean house with comfortable beds. The king bed is in the lower level and the two main floor beds are queens. The king was very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped.
