"Absolutely beautiful little rooms in a very sweet village. Perfect location for local weddings. Only Minor thing - some instructions on how to control the heating/aircon would be very helpful- we struggled to get the room to the right temperature!"

"Stayed in the Ribble Suite it was very nice apart from the Bathroom was very cold only having a small electric heated towel rail you have to leave the bathroom door open with the heat full on in the Suite for a hour or so to warm up the bathroom. our biggest gripe was that the Suite was warm all afternoon but when we returned to dress for dinner at 7pm the hotel heating had turned itself off and the room was uncomfortable chilly reported it to night manager who Forbes the hotel heating boiler...

"This was a Wonderful place to stay. Just 6 miles from Harrogate and the conference centre. The bedroom with shower and toilet TV and WiFi fine. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area so I could have cooked anything I had brought. Really good value. "

"Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful."

"This is a superb guest house in the best position in Haworth. Despite being moments away from the Main Street and the Brontë museum, it is super quiet. The decor and rooms are stylish, beautifully presented and spotless. The owners are genuinely nice people who are good at what they do and also treat everyone as individuals. "We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend! "

"Absolutely in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful. Attached to a pub that, despite its location was very busy, mainly because it gave good service and lovely food. However, no noise from the pub overflowed to the accommodation. The pool area could do with a bit of an upgrade but basically ok. Only stayed for one night but would definitely return. Exactly what I needed for some overdue R&R. Having grown up in the country I had no issue with the chickens, including a vocal cockerel, wandering...

"I made a reservation without looking into the reviews. When I arrived and saw it from the outside, the area, the building, the curtains… it felt unsafe. Only then I looked at the reviews and ended up reserving at Holiday Inn Express which was just 10mins away. Just want to make clear that I did not even go inside."
