"Safe, relaxing and comfortable stay near Wasgamuwa National Park. The proprietor and staff could not have been more helpful, organising a safari and onward transport to Habarana. Food was buffet-style with plenty of options, plentiful and tasty. "

"I was not well so this may colour my view. I was not prepared for the very long steep walk to and from our room which made me think twicw about going anywhere. Curtains which were huge were full of dust and everything smelt of and was penetrated with incense. Food was basic and over priced. Without transport and travelling a long distance there was no where else to go to eat or get snacks. No alcohol. Some very purist guests who told us off several times for talking. Now the positives....

"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."
