"My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in Luxury Room with a View. My room was #130, hers #140. The hotel location is fantastic! The reception staff was so very kind on every occasion when we had questions to ask them.They also sold us the Ghent Card which gave us entrances to various tourist attractions and public transportation in Ghent. "Very friendly and helpful front staff. Allowed us to check in very early (9 AM) for our 4 day stay for just 20 euros. Room very clean, plus we got two bottles of water each day free. Breakfast is excellent (but not free) - best to get it as part of a reservation package. Only complaint is the weird showers. No matter how you place the shower head, water spills out onto the floor of the doorless shower. Location was excellent to tourist areas and only a 2-3 minute walk to Central Station...

"We had an excellent stay for two nights in a room of four. Great staff, great area, very easy to walk to everywhere. Good underground parking lot at less than five minute walk for 15 euros. Only downside for us is that the walls seem pretty thin so we could hear outside noise when there was some. To be expected in an old building. All in all, we had a very nice time in Ghent it is a great city."
