"The hotel was much larger than we expected for the small town of Herrieden, but it was a very nice stay. The breakfast was very nice and we appreciated the scrambled eggs! The room was comfortable, but could use air conditioning in the warmer months. We look forward to coming back!"

"The place was very interesting - had everything we needed but a bit tiny. Being able to expand into the ground floor area from the very tiny upstairs, sloped-ceiling room was a huge help in making the accommodations acceptable. The amenities (stocked beer & wine in the downstairs fridge for 2$) was also a very nice touch. The town(Elbersroth) is super sleepy and boring so we had to walk or drive 6 km to Aurach for our morning coffee and pastries! Zero amenities in the town. Be ready for some...
