"Great place for a girls retreat. 8 of us ( all family) had a nice time. It was secluded but only 4 min from Lacon with a nice gift/thrift store, and restaurants, winery near by also. It’s on a wetland where you can go on a hike. Lots of wild life ( deer, geese, snake, ducks were seen) the house was stocked very well. Owner was easy to get ahold of. Great house great time! "

"The property was just as advertised. Upon arrival we were very appreciative of the garage, as it was raining that evening, and it was great to be able to unpack the vehicles inside. The view of the river from the deck was great. We did not spend a lot of time at the house, as we were visiting relatives in the area, but that would have been a very nice place to relax and unwind at the end of the day for anyone that would be spending more of their time at the home. This would definitely be my first choice to check out again for a stay in this area. "

"This house was the perfect location for our family to stay when we came back to town for a family funeral. The house was so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and nature around us as well. There were plenty of beds for everyone. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway."
