"What a gem! I was nervous about the virtual front desk but it worked out wonderfully. They allowed me to check in early which was a blessing on a cold January day! The room was compact but well put together. Great to have a fridge, tea, microwave and sound machine. I was able to make the room nice and warm during the day and cool at night to sleep. Also - the sheets smelled wonderful. My only suggestion is to allow the shower water to get hotter. Five stars!!"

"Will always come and stay here. My only complaint is actually reaching customer service , my code didn’t work for my room, and it did take a while to rectify, but other than that.. will come back for sure! "

"Had seen some mixed reviews (after I’d booked) but everything was great and went smoothly. Old reviews may have been under prior ownership. Room we stayed in was exactly what was pictured in the listing. It’s an older building and not huge (it’s midtown manhattan after all). For the price I paid I had no complaints"

"Perfect location, fun to be in an historic hotel. Only downside was heat. It was a very cold day, windy, and the heaters couldnt quite keep up and the living area was chilly chilly BUT, the bedding was great, cozy beds, we'd return"

"Basic accommodation that has the essentials. Great location. Wifi worked intermittently. Can hear the street noise pretty clearly from the 7th floor. "
