"Great place in excellent location "

"One night stay to break up our journey. Setting was lovely in the outskirts of the town surrounded by beautiful countryside. Room was small but clean and comfortable with tea and coffee avaliable. Great restaurant with a good selection of meals. Service was very good. Very surprised at the quality if the breakfast which was excellent and we felt the stay was great value for money."

"Fabulous " spur of the moment" night in Harrogate, great hotel friendly, helpful staff. Night's sleep " spoilt" by idiots coming in drunk around 3.30am, but that's not the hotels fault."

All staff were very welcoming and always great you with a smile 😊 Enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar and breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋 A most beautiful building, steeped in history, it’s been our pleasure to stay here. "One night stay room only which was very comfortable. Hotel is a grand old dame which is slightly tired in places but was very clean and with a warm welcome. The car park access should be better signposted when approaching from front of hotel. We did not experience the bistro nor bar."
