"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"Wonderful stay at Poppy Cottage. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful - very peaceful and lots of things to do. There are lots of walks, bike rentals and Louth has lots of great shops and restaurants. Communication with Emily was perfect. We will definitely visit again."

"We had a lovely time in Connie Cottage. The location was great, peaceful despite being near lots of other cabins and the kids loved playing in the woods. We spent lots of time relaxing in and around the cabin but also went to Mablethorpe (beach and seal sanctuary), the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, Louth leisure centre (good pool for little ones), Tattershall castle and to Hull to visit the Deep - all easily accessible from the cabin. "Overall a good stay. Needs a bit of TLC to the paintwork. Bathroom is quite small but adequate, & bedroom space was small ie bed against the wall. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "

"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. "This hotel surpassed my expectations! It was clean, the staff were super friendly and overall a lovely place to be. What added a cherry on the cake was the breakfast! It was so good, I loved the items to choose from and the quality and atmosphere was wonderful. The only negative feedback would be the onsite parking, its great but if only it was half the price or free for hotel guests. Other than that, this place is by far one of the best hotels ive stayed In. Thank you to all the staff for making this stay one of my favorite experiences. "
