"Had a really nice stay at this hotel before our early morning flight. The rooms felt spacious and clean. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient. Only negative is that they switched all service at the restaurant to on your phone, which can be difficult for people that aren’t very technologically savvy. "

"citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"

"This property was a perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay to catch a next day flight. The free shuttle bus was great at the airport, took about 10 mins to get to the hotel after midnight. The clerk at the check in desk was friendly, smiling and had our room keys all ready. The room was great, small, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Looking out the window in the morning we looked into a forest and saw 3 huge bunnies. The buffet breakfast was great and we sat in the sun filled dining area awaiting our shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. "

"The hotel is fantastic. Modern, clean, tasteful, lovely staff, really easy to get to using the metro. There are lovely little touches, such as lemon and lime water to help yourself from at the reception, 24 hour pizza and bar, maps of the city, etc. The food was good and the hotel was nice and quiet despite quite a few people staying there. The hotel is only 100m from the nearest metro station, but not via a proper path - if you use the footpath, then it is about 6 minutes walk. The area is not pretty, but felt safe and was in the middle between the airport and city, and you can get into town by metro or tram. "

"Great Reprieve from the hustle and bustle of city center; transportation offered is excellent, shuttling back and forth to Schipol where all the buses and trains can bring you downtown and points outside of AMS. Spa and pool area is fantastic after long day exploring. Room is cozy and comfortable. Plenty dining/snack options on site, if needed."
