I would recommend this hotel especially if you’re a solo traveller it’s close to the main metro and tram. The staff were wonderful and excellent service. Overall a good hotel.

Although the hotel is approximately 30mins by public transport out of the centre of Amsterdam, there are regular and frequent means to get to and from the centre . The hotel is in an unusual area . The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are spacious comfortable and clean . Comfortable beds and basic amenities cleaned regularly . Great value too ! I would recommend especially after a full day of exploring !

For an out of centre hotel, The Met was truly fantastic. Less than a 20 minute walk from convenient transport links, staff all friendly and always happy to help. Food in the restaurant was really good and the snack & go made a great addition for if you just wanted to chill in your room after a busy day. They also went the extra mile decorating our room as a request of it being my husbands 40th & 2 drinks tokens as a complimentary bday offer. Thanks Met, we would definitely recommend and stay again if in your neck of the woods!

Very nice hotel clean and within 5 minutes from tram and train, only criticism I can say is that the air con in the room was very loud and even when turned off made a lot of noise. Good location for a short stay.

The staff is amazing and accommodating! The hotel is very nice. The music in the lobby is well chosen. Breakfast was comfortable. Our room was a little small for a non-couple traveling for more than a week. It is better suited for a couple or single occupancy. The shower had a technical problem that needed to get fixed by experts at laying tiles. Otherwise- amazing place. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! staff were very kind and always around to answer questions. Check in and check out was quick and transport was close-by so was easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Breakfast was good aswell

Nice hotel, bit off the beaten track if you're wanting easy access to the main part of town. Excellent tram/ train access though. Also only seven minutes via express train from the airport.

What a find! The Met was the highlight to our trip to Amsterdam. The staff was very engaging and helpful, and the rooms and service were some of the best I've ever experience. I highly recommend staying here. It is the complete package at a great price.

This Hotel is lovely, however, I would have given a 5* if not for the poor breakfast and the area it is in. Really unsightly, dirty and we didnt feel safe there. Breakfast was extremely limited to only halal and vegan options, so there was no usual bacon or sausages available - window curtain in the room had many gaps and the street lighting was really bright so we found it hard to sleep. Staff however were all lovely and the room was spotless with very comfortable beds.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with really friendly and efficient staff and cleaners! Feels so welcoming, cosy and clean. It’s a few minutes away from the Leylaan tram station which takes you into the city centre within 20 minutes. Will definitely be returning.
