"This home was very clean, warm, and very welcoming! This rental is very well appointed and very well thought out! Although it was just my husband and I, we loved that there was a game area for kids and families. The owner was excellent communicating with us during our stay. Highly recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed at quick weekend pre-holiday getaway in Fleetwood. The location is perfect for a day in charming West Jefferson and a few days in Boone. The home was spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. The host was available for our questions. The only recommendation we would make is to add lamps and mirrors in all the bedrooms. We hope to return in the Spring!"

"The property was clean and the photos were accurate. We enjoyed our stay. It had not been used in a while and it was past lake season so that could be expected. Dishes left in the dishwasher had mold. Starter supplies from the property management company were minimal and there were no left over condiments, food or supplies from previous renters. Note to property managers, there is damage to the dock, probably from Helene. We were refugees from the Asheville area immediately after Helene."

"Container was very unique. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, the grill, and the outdoor fireplace. We had everything that we needed for our stay. It was very cold and snowed and everything was beautiful. The pond even had a layer of ice on it. Thanks for sharing your container home!"

"the property is very nice and spacious. but unfortunately far from most attractions. Due to the hurricane damage Blue Ridge was closed off and most driving distances are 40 minutes plus. The other downfall was the trash situation. We were unaware that would have to dispose of the trash away from the house to the nearest landfill. Fortunately you have the option of the cleaning staff taking it for you at a Fee cost. "

The owners are always accommodating and responsive. The stocked kitchen is wonderful as well. This is the perfect place for a weekend away not far from home! We can’t wait to come back next year!!"
