"Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. Our room was clean and very nice. Any amenity that you could possibly need. The owners/staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The provided breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. I would highly recommend them!"

"Lovely Victorian hotel in great location with a steep history. Unfortunately the hotel seems to be in a time warp and not in touch with modern day competition with regards to room quality tv, bed, furnishings. The dining options were extremely close windowed and not flexible. Breakfast was really poor quality with limited choice with many expected food items not bailable or offered. It seemed to be more in line with a seaside bed and breakfast offering rather than what appeared to be a 4 star hotel. We don't regret staying at The Metropole. Just that we were a little disappointed "
