"Shower didn't drain well. Shower handle was hard to figure out to get desired temperature. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and the dock. We loved having a sandy beach and fire pit. TV was very nice for watching the Olympics. Overall, the house and outdoor area met our needs very well. "

"This is our second time staying at this property and like my title says, it just keeps getting better the more you come. This time, we added to our crew and brought my parents with. They loved the place. Our girls could not get over how many toys they had to play with and how much space they had to run and play in and on the property. "This home has room for everyone to gather for games and meals at a huge table that can seat 12. We loved that. You also can spread out if you want to chill by yourself and take in the views. During our visit it was cold outside so the fireplace was fabulous. PacMan game was so fun. We mostly loved the short walk through the trees down to the beach on Lake Superior. Love this place and really, the drive from Duluth didn't take too long. We noticed some repair is needed to the ping...

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!"

"Stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time in the Amnicom river area. Beautiful hiking on the grounds from the cabin and a near drive to the Amnicom Falls State Park. Close enough to Duluth to drive in and visit as well.It was about 20-25f our entire stay and the propane heater worked really well. We had no complaints about the cabin feeling cold. The bathroom being detached from the cabin was. a bit rough in the cold but manageable.Overall it was wonderful and EXACTLY as advertised in the YouTube...
