"My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Valley of the Waters B&B. The view was incredible, it was neat and tidy and Marty was so kind and welcoming! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them."

"Bruce was a wonderful host and made my partner and I feel very welcome. We stayed in the upstairs room/apartment and it was exactly the mini break we needed. The property was lovely and our experience was so relaxing. It’s a shame we didn’t book for longer but I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a stress/free country break. "

"When we arrived we met the host Sia. She was so nice and easy to get along with. She upgraded our stay to a 2 bedroom apartment due to plumbing issues in our booked studio room. The apartment was undergoing renovations but this wasn't a problem at all. Everything we needed was there. The apartment was clean and spacious and the price was fantastic. . We were within walking distance to all shops (5 min) as well as public transport. Sia was fantastic and I would highly recommend this property."

"If you're looking to get away from the business of the world, this is great option. The room itself is cosy with enough amenities that you don't really need to leave if you dont want to. It is private, though not completely soundproof as we could hear the tenants in the main building from time to time. Blackheath is also far enough from the world but also close to major attractions like the Three Sisters in Katoomba, which is about 15 minutes drive away. Very reasonable price for what you get, I...

"Nice little get away escape to the mountains. Owners make all the extra effort to make the stay memorable. Only downside is it’s a little cramped."

"Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars......."

"Rustic Spirit is a magical place to unplug and slip into the tranquility of this property. The privacy of the chalet, the spa and the outlook make this place something special. The daily breakfast that is included was amazing especially the Rosti! The hosts are lovely and we’re a great source of local information and the on-site massage was amazing This place is a must if you looking for a bush-mountain experience without all the hustle and bustle of Katoomba. "Had a great time with a few families with young kids staying for a long weekend. Easy booking and check in and out process. Well equipped, peaceful and pool was lovely. Very helpful owners who posted something we left behind which was really kind. The only downsides were it was on a busy road (which we would have realised if we had looked closer) so had to be very vigilant, and that one of the bedrooms and bathrooms was only accessible via seperate external stairs. Would be fine for adults but...
