Staying here was worth the extra bit of distance from Napier and Hastings because it felt so removed from the city and had lots of peace and quiet (including the occasional distant bleat of sheep or moos!). "We loved our stay. The house was very well equipt and we had everything we needed for our family of 5. It is a very old house and we were there in the middle of winter. The ground floor was a bit cold and drafty, especially when the curtains were open. Summer would be amazing."

Plenty of room to lounge around in both with an upstairs and downstairs. Tried to fill in 'other' on who stayed, but wouldnt let me. There were 2 teachers and 5 Year 11 (15 year olds) students. Please let the owners know a small plate was broken."

"A clean and tidy location near Ahuriri and the port. The buzz of the port action was great to see, and the accommondation was clean, tidy and well appointed with everything we needed. A short easy walk to the cafes at Ahuriri. Good to have a break away."
