"We traveled all over the island but arrived back to enjoy the privacy and sound of the waves. "

"We stayed here for five nights with our family. There were so many great things about the house. It’s in a beautiful, more rural area with a nice sized yard. The wrap around porch is great, and there were so many fun beach toys for the kids (boogey boards, sand castle toys, some water shoes, etc). The house was clean and the kitchen nicely updated. Some of the pans were in need of replacement, but everything else was great. The washer and dryer worked fine. The house is tastefully decorated and the towels seemed new. The queen bed was nice and comfortable.Things we liked the least:The king size bed—it was pretty uncomfortable—not sure if it’s old or just bad. It makes lots of noise anytime you move and the springs are very noticeable. One of the twin beds was uncomfortable, as well.The pillows were very flat—even using two stacked was quite uncomfortable.The rooster farm—not sure if this was part of the property or a neighbors. This property does not have air conditioning, so if it is hot at night and you have the windows open, you’ll definitely hear the large numbers of roosters. If you keep the windows closed, it’s not a problem!One bathroom—we had a group of 7, so it was challenging, at times.Overall, I would recommend it! Especially if the king bed was changed! "

"Great stay at this property! The property manager was fantastic and very responsive! The property is clean and very well maintained. The pictures online do not do this house justice - it’s beautiful! You will not be disappointed! We recommend a grocery run in Honolulu before coming up to the property, there are grocery stores but are a bit of drive (15-2 mins away). The location is excellent between many popular destinations. Our family had an incredible Hawaii vacation! Thank you!!! "

"This was the perfect house for our family vacation! It exceeded all expectations. It is clean, beautiful and feels like home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with appliances and utensils with a large island and a table so everyone had a place to sit and eat. It was so helpful to have swim towels and snorkel gear provided so I didn't have to try to find room in my luggage for them. The house is literally across the street from the ocean so the sunrise is magnificent and the water is refreshing. It is a great location - only a few minutes from Laie and easy to get to everything else. The host was quick to respond to our questions and provided details and helpful information to make our stay even better. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to get away!"

"Amazing location! Directly across the street from the ocean, many different beaches within walking distance. Sunrise is gorgeous to see and mountains in the background. Stayed with family of 5, every room had a ceiling fan fan stand and if you open the windows there is a great cross breeze. We Cooked most of our meals at home, kitchen had everything we needed including an air fryer and instapot. Shower is HUGE and made washing all 3 of my kids easily. Beds were comfortable. House is on the second floor with direct outside access, guests must be able to do the stairs. Washer and dryer easily accessible from the back stairs. House provided body boards, sand toys and beach chairs beach towels. We had been to oahu and stayed in houses 3x and this location is by far the rest. Close to the north shore, food trucks, the PCC and Waimea falls. The drive into Honolulu is beautiful and less than an hour. Owners were easy to get in contact with and answered all our questions quickly. Lovely location "

"While the house does have some wear, it is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The beach felt refreshingly private and is just steps from the back door. Our family, ages 11 up to 70, had a fun and restful time! The youngest would wake up early, run out the door and immediately start playing on the beach.The house has plenty of cookware and utensils, plenty of lounge chairs on the patio for sunbathing readers, plenty of toys (sand toys, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, volleyball), beach chairs to go by the water, and plenty of beach towels. The host thoughtfully had everything we could possibly want or need. He also quickly responded and took care of us.The house doesn’t have a/c, but with plenty of windows to open and plenty of fans all over the house, we felt comfortable and slept comfortably.While the house is in a fantastic location as far as distance from iconic Oahu tourist experiences, the road in front of the house can be difficult to turn onto due to traffic. If we were leaving the house during heavy traffic, most of the time, a kind motorist would allow us to cut in. Our family alternated tourist days with rest days. We spent an entire day at the Polynesian Cultural Center, zip-lined through Kualo Ranch one morning, visited Pearl Harbor (highly recommend the submarine museum), toured North Shore, ate as much Hawaiian food as we could get. Make sure to check out the food truck park in Kahuku. Aloha! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Inside is like new and the a/c units and fans in each room were so nice. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was great. Good gathering room with a large tv. Slept 10 people with a bed to spare. Location is perfect for PCC, North shore beaches and some amazing hikes that you can literally walk to. Boogie boards and beach chairs were also great to have available. Park and beach across the street were fun as well. Host was very helpful. Only negative was some annoying roosters next door that woke us up before we were ready haha. Would stay here again. Great price point compared to some others we were considering. "
