"We have stayed at this property 3 other times, this was our fourth. The prices have tripled now that it is a Ritz. It has yet to live up to a 5 star hotel, however. Most of the restaurants serve similar food- not enough variety. Little mistakes with food orders were the norm. Attention to detail is lacking despite friendly servers. They screwed up the billing on our room and had we not been proactive to sort it out, it would have remained a mess. There are no bathrobes in the rooms or lighted...

"The cottage delivers … it offers premium location (10 steps to the beach); a lanai to enjoy the views day and night; easy trips to the local food truck scene and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Drive a little further north, you’ll be at Dole Plantation and the Banzai Pipeline to watch surfing. Honolulu is only an hour south. We’ll definitely be back - one our best vacations !! "

"Our recent stay in Hauula was absolutely fantastic! The place was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication a breeze. But the true star is the location, right on the ocean. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful VRBO rental that is a little off the beaten path as far as touristy stuff goes, but your own private ocean front is impossible to beat. We did make the short drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center and also took in the sights on the way to Haleiwa for a day. All-in-all a great place."

"My family and I took a vacation and we were looking for an oceanfront home. This property was our selected choice due to location, views, waterfront and space! Minimal deferred maintenance noted, house was clean, bathrooms could have used a little attention, but not too bad! We would rent this home again, given the opportunity and financial means! Thank You for allowing us to stay in your home, coconut trees in the yard were a plus! "

"Great place to stay to stay away from the Waikiki area. We had a great location and were closer to North shore & other surf spots. Place was phenomenal to stay in. No issues. We all slept comfortably. "

Oceanside Estate - Spacious home with Pool & AC

Great large group/ family home

"We were informed that the original house we booked was no longer available so we were given this home as an alternative. We felt like we were catfished and were disappointed by the pictures posted but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the home. The house was very spacious and updated. There were plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen had all the utensils and appliances you need. My family of 18 (including kids ranging from 7 months to 15 years old and my “advanced aged” parents) all had a wonderful experience. There were so much room for activities. The tenants that live on the property were also very nice and even came to chat with us and helped my brother jump start his rental car. The location is a bit far from the city but we enjoyed the drive along the coast. We would definitely consider staying here again if we have a large group. "

Oceanfront condo off the beaten path! MIN 30 DAYS

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo

"Nice condo RIGHT on the beach. Beautiful sunrises. You can drive north west around the island 20-30 minutes to see the sunset. The condo beach is very safe, small waves and not a lot of rocks. The condo is a bit outdated, but still nice. The kitchen is small, but had all we needed for cooking (except basic ingredients). There is a good amount of beach gear, including a few snorkels. The location is prime, only 10 minutes from the PCC. Lots of food trucks nearby. You are right on the road, so it's really easy to get going to your destination, but the road noise did bother me, even with earplugs. It technically has a bedroom, but there's NO door. The bed is around the corner from the living room, so at least you can't see the TV from the bed. I had trouble finding the box with the elevator key fob, but that's probably on me. Overall a good stay and I recommend it."
