"Truly extraordinary. We are home now and I’m still not completely sure our time at Alohacation was real! The condo has everything needed for a couple or small family - and a whole lot of wonderful surprises as well. I particularly loved the open air living that the louvered windows and screen door to the lanai provided. The sound of the surf was a nervous system regulating constant and sleep was deep. The comfortable mattress also helped with that (no jiggling from sleep companions).Alex and Fabienne have updated the condo with care and attention. The space has a simple elegance that is also functional. Hooks exactly where one would need to hang a towel. A stock of bag clips and containers to store leftovers. Three kinds of coffee prep (French press, pour over, and drip). We didn’t need of the toys as my daughter is 14, but she commented that if she were a little kid she’d have loved them. After a few days of exploring we realized that the best beach was “our” beach right at the condo and spent more time there. Meditating near sea turtles basking, snorkeling with the humuhumus, and spotting a monk seal off shore were our favorite experiences. It’s hard to capture in words what taking time in “quiet” Oahu away from our mainland home has meant for my daughter and I but perhaps the best words are a simple Thank You to Alex and Fabienne for sharing their Hawai’i home with us. We are grateful. "
