"Stayed here for one night, staff was extremely pleasant & helpful! We were running late and called for a late check in which was graciously awarded. Despite being above a pub, the noise level was moderate to none! A huge benefit for dinner plans was that we could walk downstairs and enjoy a pint. Fish and chips were divine, as well as the vegetarian Wellington! "

"Had the most relaxing weekend away in this beautiful cottage. Perfect locations for pubs, restaurants shops, walks, Chatsworth Christmas market and easy local buses to Bakewell. Liz was a fantastic host and helped so much. She recommended places to visit, eat and even provided us with takeaway options. The bed was super comfortable and I had the best 3 nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. (even going to copy the pillows and quilt). The Christmas market in Chatsworth was well worth a visit. Baslow is the perfect destination for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. We will be back again for sure. "
