"The property was clean, but the quality of bedding and kitchen stuff was just too basic. Absolutely shapeless and thin pillows, all same everywhere, so nothing to choose from. Utensils and plates are fresh from Tesco basic range still with stickers. Pans with anti stick bottoms scratched, which may be a health issue. I know it’s a caravan, and not much aspiration to be expected, but it might be just a tad bit better than a factory canteen."

"We had a long weekend stay at Dolly’s caravan it was lovely spacious and modern very well cleaned. Was surprised to see tea, coffee and sugar as well as biscuits provided which way a nice touch as well as shower gel and hand wash. Dolly also accommodated our early arrival which we were grateful for. Lidl was a 1 minute drive so was great when picking up supplies. The beach a 5 minute drive and the pool on complex was free. Would definitely consider staying here again if returning to Felixstowe....

"This property was basic but perfectly comfortable and in a stunning location! The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid....

"Amazing place, when I arrived at the reception it was old fashioned but when the Lady took me around to the rooms I was really in the 20th century. The security locks used were impressive. I felt safe already. The room was so clean, neat, refreshing I can just go on. I use hotels around the country this was my favourite."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. "I booked this for our family for a surprise for my husbands 60th. We had a long weekend and it was close by for us but what an amazing place. Thoroughly enjoyed by all we had a great time and would certainly go back - also had a private chef for one day which finished the weekend off"
