"As a place we've visited a number of times over the last 25 years the've always done a good job making it appealing and relaxing. It's well maintained and offers something for everyone. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. The only knock we had was that the compressors in A/C wall units were loud. Even with ours shut off completely you could hear the rumble of the units adjacent to our room as they cycled on and off, but having stayed in many hotels that is not unusual, just made it a bit harder to sleep. "

"I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with an iced coffee station and warm cookies at check in. Everything was very clean and nice. The room was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great (awesome biscuits and gravy). Will definitely plan on staying here again. "

"Stayed 1 night as it was close to Pinkham Notch and my buddy and I were hiking Tuckermans Ravine. The room was perfect for our trip and wish I was staying another night to relax after the exhausting day. Was arriving late coming into town and Allen was exceptionally accommodating and left my room for me even though it was after hours. Was out early the next morning but would love to return!"
