"Triple room was great, plenty of room for the 3 of us and check in was really easy, I was sent all the information ahead of time and again on the day. Breakfast was amazing and fresh and all the staff were really nice. Ideal location, short walk from the station and town center, in a quiet area. You could hear the trains, but we never found it an issue."

"The single room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. It had tea making facilities, a hair drier and iron. The en suite was of a good size and private. The only draw back was the shower - it had little water pressure and the shower hose was a poor fit. I had a key to a separate entrance which gave me freedom to avoid the bar and flexibility to come and go."

"Property was perfect for the price. Clean and welcoming. Shower was nice and the bed was comfortable. I was able to get in touch with the management on arrival. Tap in the ensuite was cold and despite running for a while, did not produce hot water. The building was subject to some noise pollution and you could clearly hear other guests in other rooms. Other than that, I would book again."

"One night stay en route to Whitby 2 rooms booked. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our rooms. Rooms were very spacious and clean and had all we required. We went down to the bar for food and drinks the food was very good and enjoyed by the three of us. We enjoyed the evening with the locals and our host who made us all feel very welcome.
