"We were allowed to park our car up due to arriving early. the room was warm & the shower was hot and powerful. we stayed in rm4 (king size four poster bed) there was a mini fridge with complimentary two cans of coke & water ( nice touch)All lights were electric, lots of power points, the blinds to the windows were electric. they even provided a iron & board !! there was a safe as well. "Great location, right in the City Centre. A small but very different room giving the feeling you have travelled back in time, but with a little modern comforts. Heating and fridge!! Expensive, but then so is all accommodation in York. Quirky, bit pleased we have ticked this one off our list of places to stay. Probably not suited to an extended stay, one or two nights only.
