"Stayed in one of the private rooms with 3 beds (2 on the floor, and one in a loft). Just steps from Motomachi shopping street, and super close to the Minatomotomachi subway station entrance (just across the street). Room was very clean, and I had no complaints about the shared bathroom arrangement. The best part however, is that there is a fantastic laundry place (ストランドリー STLAUNDRY （大型コインランドリー) 3 minutes walk from the hostel that takes card, does a full wash/dry cycle for only 1000 yen. "Staff was very kind. I came in around midnight and they made sure someone kept an eye out for me juat in case I got lost. Excellent dinner recommendations and they made the reservation for me. Very cozy. The stairs are a bit steep for anyone who has accessability issues"

"This is a budget place to stay so I did not have high expectations and could overlook most things. However, I do find that the absence of hand soap in the toilet areas to be problematic. Washing with soap after using the toilet is just basic hygiene and I cannot overlook this, especially if it was a cost-saving measure just to save a few yen per day."
