"Great little spot tucked away in the quieter part of Hongdae, only short walk to get to the lively spots. Rooms are basic, but nice with complementary charger and fridge, if you just need a place to test during your sightseeing this is a great spot. Communal area is cozy and has plenty of offerings for a quick morning snack and breakfast before you head out. Access is by code, host greets and gets you squared away quickly. "

"Great place to stay. It was a bit of a walk to access from the bus drop off location but the area was nice with many food options. The building itself was simple but nice. I appreciated the little snacks that were offered. The walls are pretty thin so I could hear the people in the next room over talking and the hairdryers and things like that but other than that it was a nice experience."

"Really fantastic experience overall. Clean, quiet, beautiful room and private bathroom. Linens provided. Forgot something? They are stocked with everything from extra charging cords/converters, toothbrushes, hair tools etc. This is a women only property which added extra sense of safety. The lady who ran the guest house was super helpful with navigating the taxis when needed. I would stay here again. "

"On paper Baroato 2nd should be good. I appreciate the staff helping me a lot, however, as a hotel the overall experience was not that great. The room was in the basement and suffered from awful humidity which meant even with the aircon on dry mode everything was wet - skins, sheets, floor etc. On my final night the humidity was unbearable and I checked out and flew back earlier than I originally expected. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in which has had this extreme humidity issue. If...
