"We spent Christmas at this wonderful home in rural Pennsylvania, and it was perfect for our family. With 8 adults, 6 kids, and a dog, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet the common spaces were spacious enough for us to all gather together comfortably. The kitchen was very well appointed, making it easy to prepare holiday meals.The basement was a great space for the kids to play and enjoy themselves, giving the adults some quiet time. "I booked this property for a birthday weekend for my adult children and I. I wanted a house close to a lake and also hiking, and this was perfect! The home had everything we needed to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and have a great stay. The fishing was excellent and the sup was used by everyone! We met lovely people at the beach and ended each day at the firepit. The property was pet friendly, and there were even dog treats for us upon arrival! "This is our second stay at the house. We love it because it is wheelchair accessible, huge and has a great view of the mountain. The only issue we have is that there is only one sofa in the living area (where the TV is located) We were there 4 nights during the playoffs for football and there was only seating for 3 people. Adding another sofa or a couple of chairs would be great. A shade on the window in the guestroom would also be great. The host was very communicative. We will be back...
