"Overall, this place was accessible, easy enough to find with a parking garage BEHIND the hotel. Note this if you are driving as otherwise you will need to circle the block to get to parking. The only reason for 1 star off is that we could not get the AC to work in our room despite using translation and thus the room was constantly stuffy. "

"I was so pleasantly surprised by what was offered. I booked an overnight stay on my way to Sapporo. I had no experience with this chain and expected an average service/facility. For one night, I didn't mind. However, the staff were organised and welcoming. Unlike similar hotel chains, they had four lifts to take guests up and down. Everywhere was super clean. "The staff provided the 'Superb' service. I stayed at the annex building which was a bit dated but totally clean for 4 weeks. I had access to sauna, washing machine, dryer, kitchen sink, microwave, ice machine & Free breakfast. It took me 11 minutes to walk to Goryōkaku where I could enjoy viewing the cherry blossom & I loved it. I highly recommend this hotel. If I ever have the chance to visit Hakodate again during cherry blossom season, I will not hesitate to book this hotel again. "

"Two night stay in a twin room. Although this hotel is located away from the centre of Hakodate, just a 15 min tram ride gets you into the main centre. A huge Lawson’s is located just 5 mins walk away, lots of izakayas, yakitori, and ramen shops are just 7-10 mins walk away. Very conveniently located. The rooms are reasonably sized but definitely not suited for large sized luggage’s to be opened up or even stored upright. The breakfast buffet selection was incredible and delicious. Do not miss...

"There isn’t much to do around the area. During check in, staff never give full and clear information, was waken up by the stuffiness, apparently the bedroom AC wasn’t on, only the central air-condition was on. Only found out hours later. Had a terrible rest. Woke up by a false fire alarm after an hour sleep from the air condition chaos. Overall, the food, the room was perfect. "
