"Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. Me and my family were able to many meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, utilizing local meats and produce. We are all looking forward to the next visit we will make, and are sure to be...

"Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."

"My husband's family came with us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Iceland has been a bucket list location for both me and my mother-in-law, so we were very happy with the location of this property. It was very easy to travel back and forth to the main city/downtown and there was a 24hr gocery store literally around the corner within walking distance. "This hotel room was located in the heart of Reykjavik and met all of our needs. Please be aware that the balcony is shared amongst all rooms on that floor. There is no front desk staff at all. All communication is via phone or email. The VRBO listing said 2pm check-in but I was notified via email the day of my booking that check-in was 3pm. This is irritating after traveling overnight. They also provided us the incorrect door code two times to get in the building. They were quick to answer...

"The accommodations were excellent. Great location. However, if you’re going to charge top dollar, I would have liked to see a few more amenities. For example, there should be tissues & paper towels available. And the bathroom towels should be replaced. They felt old, not soft & not very absorbent. An investment in higher quality towels goes a long way. Overall it was a nice property, spacious, comfortable and met our needs. "

"Very nice and comfortable lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, when we asked then to show us the directions to certain places we had to go, they were very helpful and were willing to show us from the map. We were given a room with a harbour view which was absolutely stunning. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room so I didn't mind the room was small, in fact I think it was a decent size unless you plan to spend more time in your room. The only one thing I would pick on is the shower room. The shower shelter doesn't do anything at all, the floor was all wet after the shower. We had to dry the floor with the towel afterwards otherwise it would be a bit uncomfortable to enter the shower room/ toilet again afterwards. We visited the Sky Bar on the 8th floor on our last night, we sat next to the window with a stunning view that we could see the harbour and the concert hall. Staff at the bar are very friendly. The location of this hotel is great too, we had a few activities which required us to meet up at the bus stop 5 (Harpa) which is just cross the road from the hotel, very convenient. Also, great distance from the city centre so not a problem at all walking between the hotel and the city centre. Our overall experience staying at this hotel was excellent."
