"This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. "

"This property is BEAUTIFUL. We stayed in the Bougainvillea building on the 1st floor corner room, where our ground floor patios faced the side edge of the pool, but also faced the gorgeous abundant mountain range. This was technically a “garden view room,” but it’s almost impossible to have a bad view anywhere at this resort, I imagine. Our unit was a timeshare unit (not privately owned) that we booked via Expedia. For just 2 of us we had 2 patios (one from master, one from living room), 2 full...
