"Really amazing weekend getaway. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are well appointed. The best hotel in Tepoz for sure. That said, they did mess up our spa requests (I was traveling with a man who is definitelyyyyy not my boyfriend and they gave us a couples massage with two women instead of separate ones with a male and female masseurs. The most intimate my male friend has ever been with a woman!) No matter. The food is good, the views are divine. "

"I’m still basking in the glow of my incredible stay at Hostal de la Luz in Tepoztlán! This enchanting retreat is truly a haven of peace and tranquility, with an energy that feels almost palpable. Even though I arrived at 2am the night manager welcomed me with open arms and made me feel safe and taken care of. During the course of my stay all the staff were really friendly and accommodating despite the fact that I don’t speak very good Spanish. The real highlight was the Renaissance Temazcal experience - it was transformative! The ceremony was led with such care and intention, and I felt deeply connected to the earth, my breath, and my own inner wisdom. If you're looking for a place to nourish your body, mind, and spirit, look no further than Hostal de la Luz. With love and gratitude to this special place 🙏❤️ "

Great place to stay, family friendly

"We only spent one day here, but I wish it were longer. To me, the photos don't do the hotel justice. It was beautiful with different areas to relax and take in the mountainous landscape. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. We very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. They were also accommodating for my kids. The hotel was also a quick walk to downtown. "
