"Srimali's Residence has plenty of potential but it's the small things the owners need to look at. On the positive side, the rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, the location is fine, ten minutes walk to the beach and a couple of minutes to the bus stop into Galle, pleasant surroundings with the occasional monkey sighting and plenty of stripy squirrels. Breakfast was OK and the family friendly. When we arrived only two of our three rooms had a towel. Safes were on the tables but not secured so...

"Funky and fun. Nice facilities in an area of rustle and bustle. People working there did their utmost to exceed my expectations. Very good price in a popular area of Sri Lanka. I could walk to the gym. I liked the location. "

"First of all, great facility, kind staff and good service! Don’t necessary feel that it was value for the money unfortunately (after comparing with the other stays around Sri Lanka). A few bullet points for improvement: should be able to order breakfast and lunch on the spot and not need to book the day before, cleanliness around the pool area during the day, should have more than one dining table. Overall ok! "

"Has very nice location and lovely staff. Room is large and very clean for the price. Only problem was often the shower would not run cold water only boiling hot which you could not shower under. Also the fan rooms are very stuffy as no window you an open-normally we find fans rooms to be sufficient but here it was hotter in our room than outside. All in all would reccomend just maybe with AC!"

"The accommodation itself was fantastic, with very tastefully done rooms with lovely bathroom and outdoor seating area. The breakfast was also amazing and worth the stay just by itself!!! Finally, the customer service was second to none - nothing was tom much trouble for the hosts. "
