"We booked this hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised! We chose a family room for two, and it was spacious, spotless, and in a quiet area, just what we needed. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food was good, the overall dining experience was enjoyable. Parking was an extra £5, but it was easy to find a spot, so no complaints there. The location was great too—there were grocery stores (including Waitrose and 24hours WHSmith), restaurants, and even a prepaid washing machine all within walking distance. Another great perk, it’s close to historical spots! We took a trip to Bath, which was about a 50-minute drive, making it a great base for exploring. What you see in the website is what you get in the hotel, its great value for money, especially if you have a car. I would recommend! "

"We have stayed here may times. Its a beautiful hotel (starting to look a little tired in places)and the staff are wonderful. This visit we noticed a lot more young families than we have before. For us it was a little noisy in the pool and at breakfast. The stay was still lovely."
