"The staff was super nice, the room was spotless and comfortable. They charge $15/night for parking though, I don't think that's right. And the lighting in the bathroom is not conducive to putting on makeup."

"This was our first visit to Alabama, up from Fl. for some cooler weather and scenery change. We have also bever stayed at a Drury property but based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews booked here and it didn't disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the room is very comfortable and quiet. This location is conveniently located only a few miles from everything and has ample parking when you are there. They offer a nice, standard hotel breakfast but also add extras that many don't: evenings include complimentary alcoholic beverages with option to purchase more, complimentary dinner and popcorn. Fountain drinks and coffee/tea are available 24/7. There's even an indoor heated pool and spa, fitness center, meeting rooms and a small market to purchase snacks. The rooms have a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well. This is like an all inclusive resort!! The only thing I'd improve on is the lack of TV. It's just basic cable- no movie channels. Certainly not horrible, it's just my preference to not watch hours of commercials in between TV. If this was around when my kids were young we'd have vacationed more often! It's great for all ages"

"We had to rebook from another hotel and found Clarion Pointe on Hotels.com. Front desk supervisor Ms. Valerie was gave us a warm welcome and we had a beautiful, clean room with the most comfortable beds! Shoutout to Michael for the hot, delicious breakfast! Wanda in housekeeping was pleasant and very helpful. We would recommend Hotels.com and Clarion Pointe Hotel, Research Park to family, friends and others ❤ "
