"The communication would had been easier if they didn’t only used Zalo. We were lucky our cousin joined us to communicate as she had Zalo. There was no one at the desk as stated. We asked security guard questions. The firework show was nice from our rooms. The 2nd room took longer to get ready but we had our first room. The people were very nice. "

"Beautiful condo and we can see the fireworks close and hear on our patio. Walking distance to the cable car and restaurants. Check-in office was a a bit harder to find but we managed to ask one of the building security guards. Overall well worth to stay at this place."

"Great Location sir you are visiting the Aquatic Park and doing the Cable Car Ride. This apartment had the perfect view of the nightly shows and fireworks. The sunset was incredible. What was not so great it the area itself is dead, there is no vibe or atmosphere. 95% of the buildings remain empty so if you like a little hustle bustle and a more authentic experience only stay here 1 or 2 nights max. "This is the best stay in South Island of Phu Quoc through out our 2 nights 3 days vacation. We stayed on the fifteenth floor, and the view is spectacular, with ocean view and kiss-bridge view. You could sit relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the beauty of the town, bridge, cable car, fishing boats, lights show, fireworks, and sunsets."

"We really enjoy our stay at Starbay. Very nice and private beachfront property, with well equipped homes, that have everything you need for short or long term stays. "I think it's a great place for couples like us who do not prefer going out to the beach or downtown. We wanted to stay trapped inside the villa and rest, and we were able to do just that. "Pros: Clean, well maintained, good food selection at the breakfast buffet, bus shuttle to the entertainment area and to airport. Cons: The restaurant at the beach has a very limited food choices. No access to the drinking water supply at the beach. "

A little bit of luxury

"This whole stay was beautiful - the staff were amazing, attentive, kind, interactive with our children and nothing was too much trouble. The grounds and the views were fabulous. The room was spacious and well equipped we had a room which included a bathtub overlooking the ocean which was a perfect addition to our stay. They even provide a beach bag for you to use as you stay with them. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was amazing - loads of choice and really fresh - they made you fresh smoothies, made to order egg stations, fresh coconuts, anything you could think of they had it! I was sad to leave! Thank you for a perfect stay."

"Night market right across where you have plenty of food choices....lots of seafood and rolled ice cream! Very helpful in helping us rent a motor bike to tour the island. Easy access to beach. We even did a candle making workshop. Great mini vacation for us!"

Great stay but room for improvement

"Positives: Great stay in a villa. Very close to the pool & view of Gulf of Thailand. Breakfast was very good, service was excellent. Location is great away from the party strip. Negatives: should be no shirt, no shoes, no service in restaurant; no dogs in restaurant; 1 out of 2 coffee machines worked; after 30 mins belongings should be removed from pool loungers as people reserve then leave; as smoking of all types is permitted there should be a designated smoking area. "
