"Immensely enjoyed our 5 week stay at Calming Cove. The home is immaculate and well stocked. I must say as a frequent renter, Jennifer and Mike thought of everything and it is now ranked as my favorite of all time. The home and grounds are beautiful and we were lucky to have fabulous weather. Being at the elder end of the scale, we did not partake in use of all the toys but there is fun for all ages. And my aching back certainly appreciated the heated pool/spa. We also fell in love with the area in and around Dunnellon and look forward to our return to Calming Cove in 2026. Best recommendation I can give is to rebook and we have already done that. Thank you Jennifer and Mike!!"

"Was not able to stay there because owner never got in touch with us for access to the home. We had to sleep in our truck overnight. We should get something for our aggravation!!!!"

"The house was very nice, well furnished, and immaculate. Quiet neighborhood not far from Rainbow Springs and downtown. Everything we needed was there, plenty of dishes, cookware, like being at home. Nice backyard although the only thing we did there was use the grill as it was a cold weekend.We didn't have much contact with Sunny, the host, as it wasn't necessary. We were sent all the details we needed before we arrived, and nothing went wrong.I highly recommend renting tis home if you want to spend some time in the Dunnellon area. Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms. If we are going to stay in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Sunny for having us in your lovely home.Russ Rines"

"We went scuba diving around the area- Blue Grotto and Rainbow River (KP Hole). The guest cottage was perfect for 3/4 people. Nice hosts. Great experience! Wish we could have stayed longer."

"My husband and I picked this location to start off a week long trip into SWFL. We could not have been happier!The loft is one of three dwellings on this property backing up to a beautiful, peaceful river. This unit was definitely small- basically one open room downstairs and single bath with an open over head loft. The footprint is quite small. Think tiny house but SO cozy and cute! Pretty well stocked cabinets for cooking and the owner is very generous to provide coffee pods, plenty of TP, and supplies for the shower. The shower itself was a little too cozy, but for a couple days the whole space was perfectly lovely. The setting is beautiful! The host provided outdoor gas grills, bikes, access to kayaks, and a fire pit. We felt like family. It’s a 20 minute drive down to Three Sisters Springs. We borrowed the owner’s kayaks and were able to paddle down to kayak with the manatees! If I could do it again I would pick a weekday as a Sunday was a little crazy, but we had an amazing experience and saw many manatee and other wildlife.This place is a gem and we would absolutely visit again!
