"Excellent hotel!"

"Front desk staff were always very pleasant and fantastic bith at check in and check out. Breakfast was terrible. The woman running the breakfast area on Dec 30 was miserable and rude. This area needs improvement big time. Was a pretty miserable start to our day, and will likely be the reason to stay accross the street next time. The pool was so cold that you could not swim in it. Despite opening 1 week prior due to pool renos, there was no pool heater, and therefore the pool was in the 60's....unacceptable. Secondly, the ceiling was already falling off onto the pool deck. Staff were aware (3 of them in the hallway between the pool and gym doodling on their phones were made aware yet did nothing to sweep it up with 1 of the 3 brooms on their carts. Sorry, but this place is clearly lacking leadership. I expected far more for a $280 1 night stay."

"Great stay with amazing staff. Room was very clean. Took my boy for a mini vacation overnight. He had a blast going down the slide at the pool. Gym was very good, breakfast was good. We will be back!! "

"Since we were staying for three days we chose a room with one queen bed and a couch, as well as the desk. It was so nice to have the extra floor space. "

"This was our first time staying here at the Hampton and upon entering it was vert nice, clean and modern. We only stayed the one night as we were visiting family for Christmas Eve and Day. It was very easy to find, away from the main drag so very quiet and the price was the best we found for that date in all the hotels in Guelph so we will definitely stay there again next year if they keep there prices reasonable. A free buneakfast was available as well, but we didn’t take part in that although it did smell very good. Thank you Hampton for a lovely stay!"
