"Being it was a former hotel I was a little unsure how it would be but must say the place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. And that everyone had their own room and bathroom when we were all getting ready to go out at one time was perfect. Host Julie was great in answering all our questions before and during our booking. She helped us with all of our transportation needs to and from the airport and anytime we were headed out and was great help in booking excursions. Was really...

"Our overall impression was that this little boutique hotel has a lot of potential however it has not been cared for. It has a lot of maintenance issues and there were roaches on two of the rooms. The shark room sliding door wouldnt close. On our arrival we were told the hungalows were unavailable and no compensation was provided. Our group had to be inconvenienced but we had no choice but to deal with it since we were not notified prior to our arrival."

"Our stay in Girasol was very pleasing. The property is in a prime beach-front location, has a decent sized pool and you cannot beat the pet-friendly portion of it! The rooms are a bit outdated, ours had a funky smell and didn’t even had a TV in the bedroom. The whole getting in and out of the parking lot could be improved, it’s not a very effective method to have to go get the guard every time you want to get in or out of the property by car, however, I would definitely stay here again!"

The bartenders, restaurant staff, casino staff, bellman, etc. were very friendly and had great customer service skills. This hotel caters to families and not to a group of friends looking to enjoy a vacation. If you are not going with your family, do not stay here!"
