"Our family had a fantastic time at Alta Mira. We loved the pool and the location close to great restaurants and Coco Beach. Francisco was amazing- he helped put together a great itinerary for our family(lots of fun excurions and terrific restaurant and activity suggestions!) The breakfast prepared daily at the villa was delicious and the villa staff were so so lovely. We will miss them! This was our first time visiting Costa Rica and we fell in love! We can't wait to return to Alta Mira and enoy...

"We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The property is absolutely gorgeous and we felt like we were in paradise at the pool. Igor has done such an amazing job at creating a welcoming atmosphere. He is very hospitable and friendly, always nearby for any questions. The room was simple and humble- but comfortable enough just to sleep in. We were out most of the time doing activities. There are actually 2 twin beds in the room- which put together are no problem. "The place was very clean, and Vacasa staff (on-site property manager) were responsive. The interior furniture is tired and the property could generally use a refresh. Beds and pillows are of low quality. In terms of luxury, I would rate this as "3 Stars out of 5" for those reasons. The advertised laundry facilities were not available during our stay, and we had no advance notice of this problem. The shuttle service to the beach was irregular and undependable. When there WAS a shuttle there,...

"This house is on a hill and faces west so the views are outstanding and the sunsets are magical. It is a Beautiful home, lots of space, comfortable beds, good BBQ, lots of pots, pans and dishes etc.. Swimming pool is great to cool off. The area was peaceful, the beach (Playa Prieta) is amazing and also quiet. Easy drive to Portreo, Flamingo and Brasilito. The property manager was readily available and dealt with issues immediately. We would happily stay here again."

"The property is very nice. I did not love that there were only 4 rolls of TP for a 6 day stay with 5 people. Communication was good and their is a family if Howler Monkeys living in the trees outside. It was a real highlight! If you don't like the sounds of construction nearby at 7 am, plan ahead. "
