Mrs Lucia, her sister and daughter gave us an unforgettable evening teaching us how to make pasta...something the kids will never forget. The pool was a beautiful relief from the heat. Beds very comfortable. Marco a great communicator. We would definitely come back stay!"

"This villa exceeded our expectations. It has ample room for a large family and was very neat and clean. The host was very attentive to all of our needs and very easy to communicate with. The location is just far enough away from Florence to give it a great Tuscan feel in the middle of a vineyard and olive orchard. I highly recommend this property. "

"Lots of room for lots of people. We were only 6 adults, so we didn't really tax the space. I caution anyone trying to get to this location to be careful using Google Maps. Google knows incredibly little about this little enclave just outside Fiesole. It's worth it to find it. Follow the signs and you should get there. Having said that once you reach #5 part way up the hill. Just keep on going to the left and you'll soon see the next sign that will complete your journey. The dining area...

"Santa & Giovanni were wonderful! Anything we needed help with they were always available. Even gave us a ride to the train station! Fresh fruit & vegetables were plentiful! The air conditioners worked very well. It was very hot while we were there for 5 1/2 weeks. The pool was very refreshing. They even cooked for us along with their son & daughters help. We would definitely recommend you staying at this lovely home. It was very private, but the town was only 5 minutes away. "

"This beautiful Tuscan estate exceeded expectations for our wine and culinary vacation! The view is spectacular. Our host, Tommaso, was extremely friendly and a gracious host. We brought in a chef for a Tuscan cooking class and the kitchen was well appointed. Parking the car was easy. Very modern bathrooms. Two wonderful rooms for group gathering areas inside. "Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! "
