"The Hostal is in an excellent location - just next to a park in the centre of Guadarrama, which is an excellent base for exploring the Sierra and visiting El Escorial. It is attached to a popular bar serving good food. The Hostal is quite typical for Spain: all the basics but no frills for a very reasonable price. Room was perfectly adequate and very clean. "Spacious apartment located in ideal position to see the old town. Stayed on 5th floor, lift goes to 4th floor then flight of stairs to apartment and roof terrace. Living area had a raised platform with two steps to reach sofa and coffee table, so this apartment would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.
