It is a little bit retired from the center, but public transportation is excellent around the area (and in Germany in general). If you are looking for typical air-conditioned home, you might be disappointed. The pool is small, but coming to Berlin is not the place to stay in a pool. "Wir haben die Zeit im Sommerhaus Ella sehr genossen. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert ab und wir (mein Mann, meine zwei Kinder (3 und 6 Jahre) und ich) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war äußerst sauber, die Betten frisch bezogen und die Hühner waren ein Highlight für unsere Kinder! Auch der Kontakt zu Dirk und Kathrin war sehr angenehm! Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!"

"We thought the house was great. Built only a few years ago, with everything clean and top quality. The house is nicer in reality than in the pictures! The owner was very friendly and quickly fixed a minor problem we had with one of the appliances. The house is on a private track in the forest, with quiet neighbours either side, with a large garden, decked patio and pond. It's a 45 minute drive into Berlin city centre, or 20 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn from where it's about 30 minutes by train....

"We visited with our 3 kids and Ronny the host not only picked us up from the train station because we couldn’t find a taxi, he was kind to greet us in his beautiful home with a full fridge of beer and drinks for the kids. The next morning his wonderful mom drove us to get groceries at the local market and it was so helpful as we didn’t have a car and needed things for our stay. The property is an absolute gem! We have travelled extensively and have never come across such a great host, a clean...

"Great place. All the amenities you need for a week stay with family. Not to far from tram line, would recommend car hire as it’s about 30-40mins from Berlin city, closest shops are about 30 mins walk away. No air con, house is made of wood so does get hot in the day, got the pool to cool off tho so it was fine."
