From the moment we arrived, John and Dan went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. They had thoughtfully decorated the house for the occasion, which was such a lovely touch. The retreat itself is absolutely stunning—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a huge hit and the perfect way to unwind while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. John and Dan were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. They truly made us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special milestone and would highly recommend Bonshaw Grange to anyone looking for a beautiful countryside escape. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful old building that has been modernised on the inside. The christams decor is beautiful. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was a great choice from yougurt, cereal, toast, fry up had all the usual, eggs, bacon, sausage, beans etc. Also a selection of pastries. The evening meal was very nice. No complaints at all, the hotel looks like its not long been done up. Loved the littlewelcome try with, bottlewater, teas ,coffee, hot chocolate and a wee pack of biscuits. Also a nice cookie on arrival at reception desk. "

"Parked onsite and was welcomed by Maurice & Laureen who invited us in with smiles and laughter. We booked the, superior double room with the bathtub. And the room was spacious and cosy with the bathtub being big and relaxing. There is a cozy common area where you can relax read and gossip. A lovely breakfast was prepared by Laureen with Maurice being service and entertainment. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay depite being only one night. We wished we could stay longer.
