"First impressions were very good, with adequate cooking, reception and dining areas. Bedrooms varied as to size with some of them compact. Hanging areas for clothing and lack of hangers in some rooms. The pool was good but needed attention to cleanliness possibly due to our numbers. Lower bedroom toilets were problematic and prone to flooding with water and waste matter coming back up into the shower outlet. "This villa is perched high in the hills near a quaint medieval town. The views were spectacular, the home comfortable and spacious, and it was a quick walk to town (which had a number of wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and gelato venues.) The infinity pool was perfect to jump into after a day out site seeing in the French Riviera. Both our host and property manager made everything very easy for us. We had a wonderful family holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

Local bonuses included the proximity to the Lac St Cassian, which was only 20 mins drive away and great for hiring pedalos, kayaks, and paddle boards with which to explore the beautiful clean lake on hot sunny days without the extra driving and parking requirements to get to the also beautiful beautiful beaches in Cannes and Frejus. ...

"From the photographs we were expecting something a lot nicer...our greeting by the cleaner Monika and our conversation with the owner was most pleasant but sadly the property is in dire need of a facelift, it's barely furnished or equipped, the front gate was a nightmare to lock (entire gate is out of alignment), barbeque lid handle was broken, ditto hinge on one of the toilet seats..the restful sound of the cicadas was drowned out by the yelling of the neighbours and one had to drive...
