"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"Das „Hotel“ sind ca. 6 Zimmer im Bungalow neben einer großen Tennishalle mit Sauna und Fitnessstudio, die sicherlich schon vor dem „Hotel“ da waren. Im neu ergänzten Wintergarten gibt es Frühstück. Das heißt man muss vom Zimmer nach draußen (Jacke / Regenschirm) um zum Frühstück / Sauna zu kommen. Das Frühstück ist für 16€ wirklich viel zu teuer, denn die Auswahl ist karg, die Brötchen teils steinhart, dh mindestens vom Vortag. In der Sauna hing den ganzen Abend ein Mitarbeiter (bekleidet)...

"It is a lovely hotel located outside the city. We especially enjoyed dinner in the restaurant where we had authentic German food. Our only concern was that it was hot outside and the room did not have air conditioning. We opened the windows and there was a beautiful breeze, but the flies kept coming in! "The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."
