The biggest advice I would give is to bring plenty of cash there are only 2 ATMs we could find on island and one did not work on one of our cards. Almost no one takes cards. "The home and local Rainbow Bay Beach area were great. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful beach and views. The downside was not much choice for food/grocery/restaurants nearby. Most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, closed on Mondays or closed at 5-6pm. Grocery stores were poorly stocked and expensive, and restaurants always ran out of menu items. I cannot stress enough and recommend that you pack a checked bag (or two) of prepackaged food, such as frozen meat, coffee, snacks etc. Even...

"It is hard for words to describe the Villa, except it was so incredible. The Villa was first class (Villa 2), the location and privacy was delightful. The beach was beautiful, along with the pools. "This cottage was just as advertised - spacious, nicely appointed and well-equipped with everything needed for a lengthy stay. The location is isolated, but near enough to towns to make trips for groceries or meals fairly quick. The sunrises in the mornings were spectacular! The yard is really nice as is the access path to the beach. However the high tides made for a fairly high bluff from which it was hard to get down onto the actual beach. "Staff was very attentive. Property was striking. Our villa was kept very clean. Beach was beautiful and quiet with calm, warm water and extensive shallow sand bars. The chef prepared some very nice meals. There is one colorful local restaurant within walking distance. The location is pretty isolated. There are taxis on call but getting off the property isn’t very convenient without a car. A great place for a very quiet, secluded and restful stay. "

"We definitely enjoyed our stay at Buttonwood Reserve. The views from the condo our fantastic! Sunrises on the Atlantic and sunsets on the Caribbean, from the back porch, in the evening. The furniture inside and out was very comfortable. We explored a lot of the island and it was always great to come back and relax at "home". Awesome Place

"We stayed here for five nights, the view was amazing, great snorkeling by the steps. Had a question connecting to WIFI, messaged the staff and was able to get it resolve within minutes. The bed was comfy and clean. Kitchen is equipped with enough pots and plates and utensil. Wish there were more shower towels for 5 nights but the two of us did fine, if there were 4 people then maybe you will have to ask for more. Some tiny flies in the house but I think that's just part of being on a island. We tried to use the laundry but there were no detergent. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to be back!"

Best stay in Harbour Island!

"Wow this property is such a gem! The outdoor space was even bigger than I imagined, our group of 5 couples had the best time utilizing the big heated pool, lots of nice lounging areas, and perfect set up for grilling and outdoor dining. The main house and cottage were beautifully decorated and included all we needed. The hosts and Brianna and Dolce were welcoming and always quick to respond. They even helped accommodate us last minute when we had a flight cancellation. Overall great experience - I hope to go back to Saltbox again, and would highly recommend to anyone."
