"Absolutely adorable cottages on the water, spotlessly clean, the pathways were raked every morning! Fantastic old-fashioned friendliness from the front desk service. Quiet sunrises from my little deck, moon rises from their beach area. It was fully booked yet we felt easily taken care of in our own spacious privacy. With a palpable sense of balance of well cared for nature and unpretentious people, Chincoteague and Assateague islands are a calming respite from the chaos ~ and the Key West Cottages are the perfect place to stay!"

"We spent 3 nights in 2 over-water bungalows…4 generations ages 2 to 85. The houses were well equipped and maintained. Beds were comfy, tvs were great for nighttime watching. The front porch was a great place to hang out, eat, etc. my only suggestion is maybe put a rope ‘net’ at the end of the floating piers between the houses to make them a little safer for little children. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend a visit for this unique experience."
