"The location is excellent. Walking distance to amusement parks, mini-golf, food trucks, souvenir shops and bike rentals. Good location for Pony Swim activities. Nice view of the marsh from the pier/dock. Would have been nice if the grasses in front of the unit had been cut. Pool was good. Unit could use a little updating, as well as the pool and the picnic tables on the pier should be replaced; they are falling apart and covered with mold, but other than that, no complaints"

"This was our loveliest stay in Chincoteague yet! Went with a bigger group this year and this property was perfect. Everything was super clean, decorated beautifully, etc...We had everything we needed. The renter was amazingly kind and communicative, even gave us an amazing tip for taking in the sunset. Will absolutely try to book again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Door. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. My husband taught my daughter to fish and she loved the dock area. We did use the amenities at Captainā€™s Cove and drove out to Assateague Island to see the horses. The location is tucked away from major attractions but we got used to the drive after the first day. The neighbors were friendly. Enjoyed our stay !"

"I cannot say enough about this fabulous place! Gorgeous, well-appointed with amazing views and the Marina Restaurant is minutes away with a great atmosphere and delicious food! Very comfortable beds and a wonderful snuggle room for watching movies. Pick up groceries on your way in and you will be all set - kitchen has all the basics and more for cooking! We highly recommend!"
