"I had a 7 hr layover in Athens, booked Varaba, and was delighted with the sweet homey family atmosphere. No dinner but with a menu they ordered it in for me. Met a lovely Canadian family in the open eating courtyard. Felt so well taken care of, when I was exhausted."

"It was ok. I arrived late and had sent the hotel a message about 4 hours before, but they didn’t get it. I called for the shuttle but nobody answered. I took a taxi for 20 euros, arrived at the hotel a little after midnight, and the lobby was dark and door locked. I booked this hotel because it said open 24/7, knowing I was coming in on a late flight. I knocked a lot and someone woke up on the couch in the lobby and let me in. "We stayed twice here, 2 nights in a basic apartment before our sailing trip and 1 night afterwards in a premium apartment. The location is great for the marina and I’d pay the extra for a premium apartment as the basic one is very basic! The premium apartment was much more tastily decorated, had better quality furniture and bed linen and a coffee machine! Both apartments were clean.
